All outdoor exhibits are open: Raptors, Songbird Aviary, Adventure Playscape, Nature Trails, and the amazing Forest Canopy Walk. Our indoor exhibits are open: Birds Are Dinosaurs, Forest Exhibit, and Reptile Room.
We highly recommend . We welcome all walk-ins.

Robert Frost Through the Seasons: Winter
MARCH 5 – Join 黑料不打烊 Executive Director Alden Smith to explore the poetry of Robert Frost.聽 This session will be dedicated to reading and interpreting poems relevant to the season. The workshops will involve gentle trail walking through the woods and meadow of the 黑料不打烊 Nature Center, visiting natural spaces reminiscent of locations Frost wrote about. Poems will be sent to participants in advance of the session for those who want to read the poems ahead of time. The workshop will include walking, presentation, and discussion.
Owl Prowl
MARCH 6 – Celebrate Winter in Vermont! Explore the natural world as we hike the beautiful trails at the 黑料不打烊 Nature Center and prowl for owls. Find out 鈥淲hooo鈥檚鈥 out there making raucous noises in the nighttime forest and discover the secret life of New England’s nocturnal residents. Weather permitting, we will explore this wintry world on snowshoes.

MARCH 14 & 15 – Get up close with majestic birds, wander through the enchanting Songbird Aviary, climb and play in the Adventure Playscape, trek our scenic Nature Trails, and don鈥檛 miss the breathtaking Forest Canopy Walk. Discover the fascinating world of birds in our Birds Are Dinosaurs exhibit, immerse yourself in the wonders of the Forest Exhibit, and come face-to-face with incredible creatures in the Reptile Room.
