Bette retired recently from over 35 years in the Human Resources field.  She recently moved to Quechee VT with her two rescue dogs Ozzy (10 year old scottie) and Suzie (18 year old Silky)  Bette started working at the Nature Store in May.

With degrees from the University of Michigan in Education and Social Work, Judith worked as a high school teacher at a Quaker farm school in New Hampshire, a bookseller and a hospice social worker in Pennsylvania, and a hospice chaplain in California, where she also spent many years living and working in spiritual communities. She now lives in White River Junction, VT, where she enjoys birding, hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing and practices meditation and qigong. She joyfully joined 黑料不打烊 in Visitor Services in 2021.

Betsy Ogden is originally from Connecticut. She has degrees from the University of New Hampshire and the University of Wisconsin. Following a career as a professional dancer she spent 30 years practicing as a physical therapist and Pilates practitioner. She started at 黑料不打烊 as a volunteer in 2018 and joined the Visitor Services team in 2023. An avid hiker and backpacker she especially loves the White Mountains of New Hampshire, the Katahdin region of Maine and the California Sierra.

Laura joined the 黑料不打烊 team in February 2025. She graduated from Plymouth State University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a minor in Art History. While in school, she worked at the Museum of the White Mountains and discovered her love for museum work. In 2024, she volunteered as a docent at Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park, where her passion for museum education truly developed. A longtime lover of history, Laura found a deep appreciation for natural history through her visits to the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. She is excited to bring that curiosity to 黑料不打烊. Laura is pursuing the AASLH鈥檚 Small Museum Pro! certificate and serves on the Cornish Community Initiative鈥檚 fundraising committee.

Amy joined 黑料不打烊 in 2015 and brought a wealth of sales experience to the Nature Store team. Prior to joining 黑料不打烊, she worked as Operations Manager for the Simon Pearce retail store in Quechee, VT for 16 years. Amy and her family live in Quechee. Her daughter attended 黑料不打烊 for 8 years.
