Bren discovered his passion for wildlife rehabilitation while volunteering at 黑料不打烊 during college. After graduating from UVM with a BS in Zoology, he began working at the Center for Wild Bird Rehabilitation at 黑料不打烊. In the rehabilitation department, he works to improve patient care by bringing principles from medical research, small animal and human medicine to avian rehabilitation. When not working, he enjoys the outdoors, especially wildlife photography and hiking with his dogs Bear and Chrum.

Evan grew up in Berkeley Heights, NJ, where he studied Environmental Science at Drew University. His interest in wildlife care began at Woodlands Wildlife Refuge, a local mammal and reptile rehabilitation center in NJ where he volunteered during college. Eager to work with birds, he moved to Vermont in March 2025 to work as an intern in the Center for Wild Bird Rehabilitation before starting as the Wildlife Keeper in November 2025. Outside of work, Evan loves spending time with his cat, playing video games, listening to music, and drawing.
