Experience the art of nature journaling through the captivating presence of live hawks. In this unique workshop, participants will spend time observing the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ resident raptors and use their observations as inspiration for sketching, drawing, painting, and recording discoveries in their journals.

Nature journaling combines art, science, and mindful observation, encouraging us to slow down and look closely at the natural world. Participants will learn techniques for capturing the form, posture, movement, and distinctive features of hawks while developing their own visual note- taking style. Guidance will be provided on observation skills, sketching strategies, and ways to combine drawings with written notes and reflections.

Participants are welcome to work in the medium of their choice, including watercolor, pastel, graphite pencil, ink, or a combination of materials. Whether you are new to nature journaling or an experienced artist and naturalist, this workshop offers an opportunity to deepen your connection with wildlife while building confidence in your creative practice.

Drawing, sketching, and watercolor experience are not necessary, all skill levels welcome.
