Fairy House Building Contest

Build for fun, or enter our contest for the chance to win prizes!
Winners for each age category will be selected by a panel of judges and awarded with a gift bag from the Nature Store. A crowd favorite from each category will receive a grand prize of a Private Experience – Animal Encounter.
The contest is open for anyone to build from August 17 – 21 at the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Nature Center. Your house can be built on- or off-sight and brought in for placement. Houses must be built to fit within an area of 2ft by 2ft, and there are no restrictions on height or weight. All materials (with the exception of adhesives) must be non-living when gathered and sourced from nature. Materials cannot be gathered from a pre-existing fairy house.
Fairy House winners will be announced at 3:30 PM on August 22 at the Fairy Festival.
*In order to compete in the Fairy House Building Contest you must register for $10 to have your fairy house judged by a panel of Forest Fairies and ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ educators.
