Meet some of T. Rex’s great great grandchildren\, and get a chance to touch a living fossil in a program featuring ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ live animal ambassadors. Next brush up on your paleontology skills and join a scavenger hunt for dinosaur bones. Follow clues and learn facts to put together pieces of a dinosaur mystery. Lastly\, join in for some Jurassic crafts\, learn how fossils are made\, and design your very own dinosaur! \nThe first part of this program will be attending the public program\, Birds are Dinosaurs. After the program\, registrants will continue on their Jurassic journey with a ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ educator. \nDesigned for families with children ages 5 – 12.  \n*Registration is required as space is limited. Get up close and personal with one of our avian ambassadors and garner techniques in painting from life\, all while learning about raptor natural history and anatomy. \nBeginner artists can paint along with a step by step demo\, while experienced artists can challenge themselves with the rare opportunity to paint one of these majestic birds from life. Round out this experience while sipping on some warm hot chocolate as you paint!  \nAppropriate for ages 8 and up.
