Catharine 鈥淐atrinka鈥 Randall is a self-taught, award-winning artist and member of the Santa Fe Society of Artists. She specializes in painting birds, animals, and pet portraits, drawing inspiration from the natural world.

Her artwork is represented by Terra Cotta Wine Bistro in Santa Fe, Two Old Crows Gallery in Pagosa Springs, and Matt Brown Fine Art Gallery in Lyme, New Hampshire. She will also present a one-woman show at the Flat Iron Co-op Gallery in Bellows Falls, Vermont.

Catrinka has received multiple exhibition awards in New Hampshire, including 鈥淢ost Graceful鈥 (2020) and 鈥淢ost Flamboyant鈥 (2021, 2022). Her work has been featured by Audubon organizations in Vermont and Rhode Island, and her prize-winning painting of cave swallows is part of the permanent collection at the Carlsbad Museum in New Mexico. Her painting Head Honcho was also featured in the international exhibition Extinction: Save the Planet and published in The Book of Arts: Extinction 2022. Her watercolors are collected internationally.

In addition to her visual art, Catrinka is a professional soloist who sings in chorales throughout New England and the West. She and her husband, Randall Balmer, split their time between Hanover, New Hampshire, and Pagosa Springs, Colorado. They have grown children and Tigger, a Golden Retriever.
